120th Anniversary Celebration of NUS
The National University of Singapore (NUS) celebrates its 120th anniversary in 2025, commemorating a legacy as Singapore’s first higher education institution and its flagship university. The NUS Department of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences (PPS) stands as the sole institution offering a professional pharmacy degree tailored to the nation’s healthcare needs.
Currently, the NUS PPS Department is recognized among the top 20 institutes in the world according to the World University Ranking by Subject (Pharmacy and Pharmacology). The NUS PPS Department trains the next generation of pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists with our vision to reach the next level of global excellence in research, education, practice, and enterprise, harnessing the strength and diversity of talents.

A defining moment came as our CEO, Dr. Rebecca Tay, took the stage to unveil the transformative capabilities of our cutting-edge PRECISE Pharmacogenomics Testing Platform. She illuminated the fundamental know-hows, demonstrating how we are turning complex genetic data into actionable clinical strategies to optimize patient outcomes and pioneer the future of drug therapy.
We were truly inspired by the growing enthusiasm of participants and the meaningful engagement throughout the sessions. It was also an honour to share this space with esteemed experts, clinical pharmacists, and clinicians, including:

34th Singapore Pharmacy Congress
The Singapore Pharmacy Congress is held annually, but this year, it is held in collaboration with the NUS Department of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences to drive PSS’s commitment to collaborate with one of the leading global schools of pharmacy. This 34th SPC aims to attract delegates, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and academics to exchange ideas, experiences, and best practices while bringing the latest scientific updates, research, and advancements.
