Precision Diagnostics had the honour of attending the prestigious event hosted by the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA), ‘Integrative Medicine: Onward and Beyond the Transitional Period,’ held on June 22, at the Royal Chulan Damansara. Our CEO, Dr. Rebecca Tay, was a speaker at this event, presenting her insightful topic on ‘Pharmacogenomics at the Center of Precision Medicine’. Dr. Rebecca highlighted the crucial role of Pharmacogenomics in Precision Medicine through real-life implementations, showcasing how this innovative approach allows us to tailor medical treatment to individual genetic profiles, ensuring optimal drug efficacy and minimising adverse effects.

Our team engaged with numerous healthcare professionals and committee members, sharing how our solutions can support doctors in making informed decisions for patients.
Dr. Rebecca also shared an upcoming summit, the 1st Malaysia Pharmacogenomics Summit on 20th July 2024, organised by Precision Medicine & Scientific Wellness Association (PMedS). It focuses on the significance of Pharmacogenomics in modern medicine. This summit will underscore how Pharmacogenomics empowers us to enhance patient care and assist doctors in prescribing the right medications, ultimately improving lives. Attending this summit will provide a better understanding, earn a certificate in ‘Fundamentals in Pharmacogenomics’, and partake in interesting topics and conversations with international speakers and healthcare leaders.
