Oriental Melaka Straits Medical Centre (OMSMC) has recently organized a night of celebration for the esteemed business partners and their exception teams. The reason behind Precision Diagnostics involvement with the Gala Dinner was proud to announce regarding our services availability with the launch of PRECISE Pharmacogenomics (PGx).

During the night of celebration with their business partners, we were welcomed and supported for our services including a special giveaway for our services. Oriental Melaka Straits Medical Centre invited Precision Diagnostics as a sign of collaboration, assuring one of the few milestones in precision medicine. There were multiple industry leaders and representatives, interested in our provided services and future collaborations. Oriental Melaka Straits Medical Centre was accommodating our services by allowing Precision Diagnostics to play their corporate video during the event to showcase the potential behind Pharmacogenomics and how our Chief Executive Officer, Dr Rebecca Tay, shares her vision of personalized care in precision medicine involving her family’s journey in pharmacogenomics.

It was also an honour and insightful event to be involved with the Oriental Melaka Straits Medical Centre on their accomplishments and specialized services in Melaka, Malaysia. PRECISE Pharmacogenomics is one of the FIRST clinically recommended genome-wide pharmacogenomics test, recognized by the Malaysian Book of Records. Over 1,000 genes and covering of 500+ commonly prescribed medications, Precision Diagnostics is able to assist healthcare professionals to tailor treatments to individual patients especially with the OMSMC team.

The reason behind the emphasise for PRECISE Pharmacogenomics enhances treatment safety and efficacy of medication for patients. It also reduces the risk of adverse drug reactions or medication side effects. It is one of the milestone in precision medicine, ensuring a safer, more effective approach to patient care.
