Precision Diagnostics had the incredible opportunity to share the science of personalised medicine with the talented team at Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI). Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) is Indonesia’s national public radio broadcaster and one of the country’s most important public communication institutions. Established on 11 September 1945, shortly after Indonesia proclaimed its independence, RRI has played a historic role in nation-building by serving as a trusted channel for information, education, and cultural identity across the archipelago.

As a state-owned public broadcasting organization, RRI operates under the mandate to provide accurate, impartial, and socially responsible content for all Indonesians. Its programming spans news and current affairs, public education, culture and arts, music, religious content, disaster and emergency broadcasts, and public health awareness, ensuring accessibility for diverse communities, including those in remote and rural regions. From a public-interest perspective, RRI functions much like a central nervous system for national communication—supporting social cohesion, informed decision-making, and resilience during crises. Its continued evolution into digital broadcasting reflects its commitment to remaining relevant, credible, and responsive to the informational needs of modern society. The RRI team demonstrated strong engagement, particularly during the extended Q&A session, reflecting growing interest in how genomic insights can contribute to proactive health management.
