DBS iNET 2025: Expert Industry Forum
The Industrial Networking and Engagement Event (iNET) introduced the Expert Industry Forum by the department of Biomedical Sciences, Sunway University to share meaningful insights behind industry leaders of the employability landscape within the Biosciences sector in Malaysia. The session started with the Career Talk by Zuellig Pharma and followed by industry leaders, including our CEO, Dr. Rebecca Tay.
The forum titled ‘From Campus to Career: Navigating the Biosciences Landscape’, had gathered leading voices from the industry and academia. There were three industry leaders, including our CEO, is part of the panel that will also be moderated by Prof. Kavita Reginald.

During the session, Dr. Rebecca shared insights into the evolving landscape of precision medicine, emphasising the growing relevance of Pharmacogenomics and Nutrigenomics in shaping the future of healthcare. She also highlighted on how these disciplines are opening new career opportunities, bridging academic expertise with real-world clinical and industry applications.
The event also provided an excellent platform to connect with aspiring bioscience students from around the world, whose enthusiasm and curiosity reflect the promise of the next generation of scientific leaders. Precision Diagnostics believe that reinforcing the value of translating academic knowledge into impactful careers that advance patient care and healthcare innovation.
