For the first time, we conducted a Continuous Medical Education (CME) session at the prestigious Hospital Kuala Lumpur, a government hospital. This engagement brought together leading clinicians and healthcare professionals to explore how genetics is shaping the future of medicine.
Our CEO, Dr. Rebecca Tay, presented PRECISE Pharmacogenomic, the first clinically recommended genome-wide pharmacogenomics test in Malaysia. This pioneering service is designed to help doctors prescribe the right medicine at the right dose the first time, reducing trial and error while minimizing side effects.
We were also privileged to have Dr. Ngu Lock-Hock, Head of the Department of Genetics, Clinical Geneticist and Paediatrician, and Clinical Lead in Inherited Metabolic Diseases at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, share his expert insights on integrating pharmacogenomics into clinical practice.
In addition, we introduced PRECISE Nutrigenomics, a DNA-based service that identifies food sensitivities and dietary compatibility. This innovation empowers personalized nutrition planning and supports better outcomes in metabolic health, weight management, and preventive care.
