We have validated that waiting 30 minutes after brushing allows toothpaste residues to dissipate and loose debris/dead cells to be naturally cleared, ensuring a clean and accurate collection of the individual’s epithelial cells for testing.

If you collect your sample too soon after brushing, toothpaste residue may contaminate the swab. To ensure accurate results, it is recommended to wait at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before collecting.
