Annual Penang Teaching Conference with MMA Penang

The Malaysian Medical Association (MMA), Penang Branch, hosted the 65th MMA Annual General Meeting and invited Global Precision Diagnostics to partake in their activities at the National MMA Convention & Scientific Congress 2025. It is a prestigious gathering that brought together the nation’s brightest medical minds under the theme “Navigating Challenges, Embracing Opportunities“.

The MMA Penang Branch has also brought many renowned medical experts, clinicians, and healthcare innovators, exchanging insights, best practices, and innovations in the field of medicine. At the same time, Precision Diagnostics was honoured to engage with these healthcare professionals during the event. Our CEO, Dr. Rebecca Tay, and COO, Dr. Gew Soon Peng, personally connected with MMA members, strengthening ties and sharing our company’s vision for advancing precision medicine in Malaysia.

During this event, our booth showcased the specialized tests, PRECISE Pharmacogenomics and Nutrigenomics — Malaysia’s First Clinically Recommended Genome-Wide DNA tests that guide doctors in prescribing the right medicine at the right dose, including personalized nutrition insights through DNA-based food sensitivity and dietary compatibility profiling. Furthermore, the MMA Penang Branch integrated the annual Penang Teaching Conference, targeted for General Practitioners, during the National MMA Convention and Scientific Congress 2025. This opened the lineup of social events and cultural activities with the addition of the congress.

Our team conducted a giveaway session with our product, PRECISE Pharmacogenomics, alongside Dato’ Dr Kalwinder Singh Khaira, President of the Malaysian Medical Association. The team was also keen on connecting with healthcare professionals, including the MMA members, to share insights into precision medicine and genomics-driven healthcare.
